Description
These easy oven baked cheeseburger sliders come out juicy, cheesy, and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
-
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
-
Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
-
Slice the slider buns in half without separating them individually. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
-
Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the buns. Place cheese slices on top.
-
Add the top half of the buns over the cheese.
-
Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
-
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes so the tops turn lightly golden.
-
Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter option.
- Swiss or American cheese works well if cheddar is not available.
