Description
This garlic herb butter is a flavorful addition to any dish, perfect for enhancing meats, vegetables, or even bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Zest from 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cut the butter into pats and add it to a small bowl. Microwave in intervals (I use half power so it doesn’t splatter everywhere) until melted.
- Add the remaining ingredients and whisk/stir until fully combined.
- Taste & adjust as needed.
- I like to let it cool a bit and serve it at room temperature so it thickens up slightly, but you can serve it when it’s still warm or even cold straight out of the fridge.
Notes
- Sea salt or kosher salt works best, adjust to taste.
