Description

This garlic herb butter is a flavorful addition to any dish, perfect for enhancing meats, vegetables, or even bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Zest from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 34 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cut the butter into pats and add it to a small bowl. Microwave in intervals (I use half power so it doesn’t splatter everywhere) until melted.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk/stir until fully combined.
  3. Taste & adjust as needed.
  4. I like to let it cool a bit and serve it at room temperature so it thickens up slightly, but you can serve it when it’s still warm or even cold straight out of the fridge.

Notes

  • Sea salt or kosher salt works best, adjust to taste.
